We will be taking kids into an advanced level of learning how to become a marine biologist. This camp will feature animal interactions, crafts, games, special behind-the-scenes privileges, animal interactions, and more.
An educational camp designed for children with ADHD which will enable children to learn the innter workings of the aquarium while getting up close and personal with the animals.

College Partnership Program
Explore what's beneath the rocks and plants in America's shorelines.
A swim experience for disabled kids with our instructors. Children will have the chance to swim while learning about the different types of aquatic animals we house in our aquarium.
Kentucky Fun World will present human anatomy and physiology in a whole new way. We will have outdoor science and health exhibits even in our playground areas. We plan to build " Zach" and "Lilly".These structures will take the form of a 50-foot boy named ZACH and a 40-foot girl named LILLY. Our children will be able to climb through the brain and down the backbone, pass by the heart, play in ZACH’s stomach and slide through his GI tract. LILLY’s will be built in a similar way but with an introduction to new human internal parts.
Kentucky Fun World uses these exhibits and other programs to educate multi-generational family audiences about health and chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer.
In this series of programs we will introduce the kids to our state waters and marine life.
Kids will enjoy a 2-hour class filled with knowledge and interactions with what lives in our waters.
This program is designed to share educational information, strategies and resources with other Down syndrome groups so they can deliver Learning Programs in their own areas.
We will utilizes online webinars to replicate our face-to-face program. Through Our Online E-Learning program, we are able to extend access to families who work or do not live close to our aquarium. Teachers participate Online also. Participants are able to join live sessions in real time or view recorded learning sessions at their convenience. Our E-Learning online portal serves families all over the country.
This program focuses on the sounds of the oceans, rivers and seas. We will also focus on sounds made by some of the animals that live in the deep ocean.
This program series focuses on how to care for animals. Kids will interact with animals, learn how to feed fish and how to care for home aquariums.
Teen Time At The Aquarium
This program is designed to share educational information, strategies and resources with other colleges so they can deliver Learning Programs in their own areas.
This program focuses on all aspects of the oceans, rivers and seas. We will also focus on the animals that live in the deep ocean.
Aquarium Learning After School is a two hour after school program intended to provide additional academic intervention and social skill building to students in third grade through high school. Staffed with credentialed teachers supported by interns and volunteers, the program enables us to provide additional hands-on support to students.
This program is designed to share educational information, strategies and resources with other schools so they can deliver Learning Programs in their own areas.
We will partner with residents, clubs, businesses, colleges and VA offices to bring combat veterans and their families "home" to a community that embraces them and provides education, understanding and meaningful employment to minimize hardships.
Kentucky Fun World will help in counseling, career and educational opportunities, we provide veterans with opportunities to deliver services beyond themselves.
This is essential to successfully reconnecting with others in the community, and is a large part of why many veterans were led to serve their country in the first place.
Accessing care and benefits through the VA, utilizing earned education benefits, training for civilian exciting careers and developing a quality resume package are just a few of the ways we will continue to help our veterans transition back into civilian life.
